Companion Animal Hospital

Companion Animal Hospital is a rurally located small animal hospital just outside Concord NH. We have been committed to caring for the communities furry family members for over 30 years.

Dr. Doody has been with the practice full time since 1994, and intermittently since 1985. Our technicians have been with us for 4, 14, and 24 years, so we can offer continuity in care and trusted relationships, which are so important in our field. Additionally, all of our employees are cross-trained so they are all equally able to assist you with your pet's care.

We are dedicated to providing high quality, current, appropriate medical and surgical care. We try to balance patient needs with client philosophy of pet care. We stress the importance of preventive health care including physical examination, annual vaccinations and regular screening lab work to help detect illnesses much earlier.

Routine dental cleanings, preventive surgeries (spays and neuters) and microchipping help provide your pet with the longest and healthiest life with you. We provide laboratory services as needed, for diagnosis of illnesses, pre-surgical screening, and monitoring of chronic illness. We have a complete laboratory setup, enabling us to offer a wide variety of in house testing, providing results in a timely manner. We also utilize digitial radiology, so we have x-rays in just minutes.

Special interests of our practice include surgery, preventive dentistry, and dermatological conditions related to allergy.  Dr. Doody has recently taken interest in treating pet chickens and has since completed several continuing education courses to be able to do so.
